Dr. P. Rajendaran graduated in 1980 and commenced internship in Government Wenlock Hospital and Lady Goschen Hospital, Mangalore. He then went overseas and joined the Medical and Health Services and served initially as a Health Officer and then went on to serve in the Surgical and Orthopedic services in Government service.

He has attended workshops in Burns during surgical training and has also attended another meet in Kuala Lumpur under the auspices of the Association of Internal Fixation (ASIF) while working in the Orthopedic Unit (It was conducted by Dr. M.E. Muller.) He has also attended the Edinburgh Postgraduate Board’s Course (in Edinburgh) on basic Surgical Principles and has completed the Fellowship Course in Surgery of the Royal College of  Surgeons of   Edinburgh in Edinburgh.                                                                                                              Dr. Rajendaran worked in accident and emergency medicine department thereafter. Post-retirement, he returned to Palakkad and is currently at Shalom Care N Cure for the last one and a half years.
